[Sep 26] Intl Allies Launch ILPS Sun 9/26 in Oakland!

Organizations and individuals building the International League of Peoples Struggles (ILPS) invite all anti-imperialist allies to a historic Bay Area gathering forging international solidarity as we "Advance the People’s Solidarity and Struggle For Liberation and Democracy Against Imperialist Plunder and War!"

Join us as we prepare to send local delegations to the ILPS North West regional conference in Seattle October 9, 2004 leading up to the Second International Assembly (SIA) of the ILPS in the Netherlands November 10-14, 2004!

11am - SUNDAY, SEPT 26, 2004
Eastside Arts Alliance, 2587 International Blvd

Oakland's Fruitvale District - Blocks from Fruitvale BART
Refreshments provided

Dozens of international organizations from 40 countries have been building the ILPS since its founding assembly three years ago.  Yet the ILPS still needs strong participation of third world national and social liberation allies inside the belly of the beast of U.S imperialism.  So international forces are continuing to build our Strength in Unity and taking our work up another notch against the common enemy of the people which we know here and abroad is…Bush led U.S. imperialist globalization through militarization disguised as a war on terrorism!

Come learn more about the International League of People's Struggles and the ILPS' 18 areas of concerns which expose and confront forms of imperialist oppression widely felt by most people in the world.  The ILPS is an international united front of organizational forces already strong outside the U.S.  Join us as we elevate our work together in the Bay Area and nationwide as we prepare to wage stronger blows to U.S. imperialism--an enemy in crisis.

Sunday Sept 26th gathering will discuss:
History, aims and purpose of ILPS (with footages from previous intl. conferences)
Report back from forces involved in ILPS work by BAYANusa
Review of 18 Areas of Concern - hooking up local struggles to intl work for global justice.
Sign-ups for the NW conference in Seattle next month and/or the ILPS Second Intl Assembly in Netherlands this November
Groundbreaking for continued ILPS work after SIA
